Beloved television personality Stacey Solomon has brushed off rumors suggesting trouble in her relationship with Joe Swash. She affirmed that she still finds him very attractive, although there are moments when she wishes he would stay away from her.
The status of their “marriage” came into question when it was revealed that their union was not legally registered despite a lavish ceremony in 2022. Speculation heightened when Stacey was seen without her wedding ring.
Addressing the rumors directly with her close friend and TV companion Dilly Carter, Stacey emphasized that all relationships require effort, including hers, but she shrugged off any talk of “divorce” as baseless.
When asked if their public lifestyle made their relationship more challenging, Stacey asserted that being in the spotlight didn’t significantly impact them. She acknowledged the inherent difficulties of any relationship, especially with their busy schedules and three children.
Stacey likened her experiences with Joe to those of any average couple, noting that while public scrutiny brings certain pressures, they are unfazed by untrue speculations about their relationship status.
Reflecting on their reality show “Stacey & Joe,” the former X Factor star admitted that having their domestic life on display sometimes led to regrets over what was captured on camera. However, she stressed that their lives are essentially ordinary like any other family.
Despite their public personas, Stacey described themselves as unremarkable celebrities who prefer a simple life at home over glamorous events. She highlighted the mundane yet authentic aspects of their daily routine.
Stacey rose to fame on X Factor in 2009 and later won I’m A Celebrity in 2010, where she met Joe Swash, who was hosting the show’s spin-off series at the time. Although Joe was immediately smitten, Stacey initially had no recollection of their first meeting.
Discussing their initial encounter, Stacey found Joe’s detailed memory of the event somewhat unsettling, jokingly referring to it as “stalkerish.” She expressed amusement at Joe’s vivid recollection compared to her own lack of memory.
Stacey revealed that despite Joe’s instant attraction, it took years before they officially became a couple and eventually tied the knot in 2022. They now share three children: Rex, Rose, and Belle, in addition to their extended family from previous relationships.
