The spouse of Rag’n’Bone Man narrowly avoided imprisonment after a Range Rover crash during the school run led to a 12-week suspended prison sentence.

Zoe Graham, aged 38, attempted to pass a tractor on a hazardous road while hurrying to collect her children in East Sussex. Unaware of three cars ahead of the tractor, she crossed double white lines and collided with a turning vehicle.

The driver of the car, Samantha Keen, was with her children heading to an animal rescue center when the accident happened, reportedly at a speed of about 55mph. Keen lost consciousness immediately after the crash, experiencing leg numbness and severe pain.

In the aftermath, Keen and her children sustained various injuries, with Keen suffering a broken ankle, cuts to her face and head, as well as damage to her hip, leading to mental trauma and necessitating counseling for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Graham, deeply remorseful, expressed in court her apology for causing harm, attributing her actions to a history of domestic violence and her children’s anxiety. Arrested and initially charged with serious injury by dangerous driving, she later pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by careless driving.

Upon sentencing, Judge Rennie acknowledged the incident as uncharacteristic of Graham but emphasized the avoidability of the situation had proper driving been observed. Graham, relieved to not face immediate imprisonment, was cautioned that any breach of the suspended sentence could lead to incarceration.

Graham’s relationship with Rag’n’Bone Man, born Rory Charles Graham, began in 2021, culminating in their marriage in November 2024 after years together.
