The accident involved two helicopters colliding above an electric vehicle yard in Rio, where Oliver Tree Nickel, director Lucas Vignale, YouTuber Gaspar Prim, DJ Lucas Frota, as well as pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac, were discovered.
Renowned for his popular tracks like “Miss You” and “Life Goes On,” Tree was in South America for his The World’s First Tour. Just before his untimely demise, he had performed in São Paulo and was scheduled to resume his tour in Lisbon, Portugal.
His loved ones have confirmed that a celebration-of-life service will be held on July 25 at the Quarry Amphitheatre at UCSC in Santa Cruz, which will be live-streamed for fans. Tree, who had departed from Atlantic Records, released his last album, “Love You Madly Hate You Badly,” under his own label, Alien Boy Records.
