Should a UK player clinch the victory, it would mark the most substantial lottery triumph in the country, surpassing the current £195 million record secured by an undisclosed EuroMillions ticket holder in 2022. Thursday’s forthcoming draw will signify the 40th consecutive rollover draw, with the lengthiest jackpot streak in Powerball history standing at 47 successive draws, culminating in the $1.817 billion (£1.336 billion) jackpot seized on Christmas Eve last year in Arkansas, the home state of former US President Bill Clinton.
