A medical professional has recounted the distressing moment he attempted to aid Alex Pretti after he was shot by an ICE agent. The doctor revealed the actions of the shooter following the incident.

Alex Pretti tragically lost his life in Minneapolis on January 24 amid ongoing demonstrations against ICE agents and the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

According to the doctor, instead of providing immediate assistance, federal agents reportedly tallied the number of bullet wounds Pretti sustained. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) asserted that shots were fired in self-defense as Pretti allegedly possessed a handgun.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara stated that Pretti, an ICU nurse, was believed to have a legal firearm permit. However, there is no evidence suggesting he intended to harm law enforcement during the protest.

An eyewitness, described as a physician in court documents, contradicted DHS claims, affirming that they did not witness Pretti displaying a weapon. The witness asserted that ICE agents pushed Pretti to the ground before shooting him multiple times.

The witness also mentioned that the ICE agents failed to provide medical aid adequately, opting instead to count the victim’s bullet wounds. The witness expressed confusion over the agents’ actions and highlighted the lack of standard medical procedures being followed.

Alex, remembered as a compassionate individual, was seen trying to shield others before being fatally shot by an unidentified ICE agent. The chaotic scene unfolded as agents subdued Alex, leading to multiple gunshots and screams resonating across the city.

Witnesses reported hearing ten gunshots as ICE agents allegedly retreated from the scene without attempting to revive Pretti. The incident left bystanders horrified, with claims that proper medical attention was not promptly rendered.
