A medical professional was apprehended for reportedly taking goods valued at £2,000 from a local supermarket. Lindsey Jae Minshew, aged 40, was arrested in connection with the theft at a Target store in Jacksonville, Florida, following an employee’s report of a woman stealing merchandise worth “$2,716.61 [£1,960].” Minshew, a licensed doctor in Florida since 2012, was linked to the incident.
Law enforcement identified a black Porsche 911 associated with Minshew’s registration arriving at the store approximately 30 minutes before the theft. Subsequently, Minshew reported the vehicle as missing a few days later. She was detained at Duval County Jail on January 23, 2026, on a grand theft charge ranging from $750 to $4,999 but was released the following day.
Minshew’s professional profile on the Florida Department of Health website indicates her affiliation with the medical staff at University of Miami hospital and possession of a medical license in Pennsylvania. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, followed by studies at the University of Utah School of Medicine and specialized training in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
