An extensive inquiry is in progress following a shooting incident targeting a car on a residential street, where the perpetrator remains at large.

The incident occurred around 10:30 pm on Tuesday in Rednal, Birmingham, as the vehicle was shot at while traversing a residential area. Subsequently, it collided with a parked vehicle after being fired upon, prompting the occupants to flee the scene.

West Midlands Police have confirmed no injuries were reported, and the West Midlands Ambulance Service did not respond to the incident. The residential street was cordoned off on Wednesday, with law enforcement officials present to collect evidence. Images depict a black Volkswagen crashed against a white van on the driver’s side.

According to West Midlands Police, shots were fired at a car in Radnor Close, Birmingham, at approximately 10:30 pm the previous day. The car reportedly struck a stationary vehicle before its occupants escaped.

The police statement added that no injuries were reported, and investigations are underway to identify and apprehend those responsible. Increased patrols will be deployed in the area to reassure the community.
