Television personality Kaye Adams expressed her desire to reorganize her life after being dismissed from her radio job at BBC following an investigation into her conduct. Adams, known for her role on Loose Women, was removed from her morning radio show, Mornings With, back in October.
Recent reports indicate that Adams, aged 63, was found to have engaged in inappropriate behavior. Despite denying any wrongdoing, she suggested that her “assertiveness” might have been misconstrued as “bullying.”
While discussing her departure from the BBC for the first time on her podcast How To Be 60, Adams acknowledged the challenging past five months. She emphasized the need to focus on regaining stability in various aspects of her life, including mental health, eating habits, and sleep patterns.
In an effort to prioritize her well-being and family, particularly her civil partner Ian Campbell and their two daughters, Adams refrained from elaborating further on the situation.
Adams, who entered a civil partnership with Ian Campbell in early 2025, shared her emotional experience of reconnecting with her children in Edinburgh over the weekend. Reflecting on the quality time spent with her daughters, she expressed gratitude for their understanding and support during challenging times.
Notably, the BBC has not disclosed the specific reasons for Adams’ removal from her show. However, BBC Scotland confirmed that the current lineup of presenters for Mornings With would remain unchanged temporarily.
A spokesperson stated, “Kaye Adams will not be returning to her role on Mornings With. In the meantime, Connie McLaughlin and Stephen Jardine will continue hosting the program as scheduled.” Adams, a familiar face on Loose Women and a former contestant on shows like Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity MasterChef, has been associated with BBC Scotland since 2010.
