Officers and a police helicopter conducted an extensive search in a major UK city tonight to locate a nine-year-old child who was reported missing earlier. The emergency services responded promptly to the report, with Plymouth Police initiating the search in the Barne Barton area of the city. The operation involved at least six police cars and a helicopter around 7 pm.
Authorities were observed searching the Tamar View community complex and Estuary Way, with the helicopter providing aerial support. A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police later confirmed to Plymouth Live that the child had wandered off but was found safe and unharmed within an hour.
