The royal couple spent the day at the races alongside other esteemed guests, including the King and Queen, and later took their place in the royal box after participating in the traditional carriage procession, where the Duchess had to hold onto her hat against the wind.

This marks Kate’s first public appearance at the renowned Berkshire gathering since her battle with cancer in early 2024, during which she underwent successful chemotherapy treatment.

While she was scheduled to attend with Charles and Camilla in the royal box last year, she had to withdraw last minute, leaving Prince William to represent the family. It was later revealed that the Duchess was carefully managing her return to public engagements post-treatment.

Despite their previous horse, Reaching High, facing defeat on the opening day, the royal couple remains hopeful for a win.
