Lee maintained that there was no physical fight with Paolo, offering his perspective on the incident. In a voice message before his detention, Lee clarified: “I would like to clarify the situation with Kerry Katona and Paolo because it has been misinterpreted. There was no physical altercation as implied. To be honest, they exchanged words and had a disagreement, but they seemed to blame me.”
He added, “Kerry was somewhat impolite to me that day, but they reconciled because they had consumed a significant amount of alcohol and other substances, so I can provide some context on that, if necessary.”
However, a source has refuted Lee’s claims, stating that he has been dishonest and that the eyewitness’s version is accurate. According to the source, tensions escalated after Paolo intervened to mediate between Lee, Katie, and the others.
