An exotic dancer alleged that she was requested to perform “various sex acts” for Jeffrey Epstein and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and attempted to extort $250,000 (£182,365) from the convicted sex offender, as per legal records.
A recently uncovered letter, part of the three million documents disclosed by the US Department of Justice, details how a woman’s attorney claimed that the billionaire hired her for an event at his Florida residence. Dated March 23, 2011, the letter asserts that she was not compensated the promised $10,000 (£7,285) for her services and was allegedly treated inappropriately during the occasion.
The letter further states that the dancer was taken to an “upstairs bedroom” where she was introduced to the then-Duke of York. The attorney representing the woman, William K Vogeler, described how his client was coerced into engaging in sexual activities after she refused the advances of Epstein and Andrew following a dance performance in her undergarments.
Vogeler’s letter mentions that his client observed other scantily clad women at the gathering, some appearing to be as young as 14 years old. The attorney claimed that despite assurances of payment for her services, the woman was only given a fraction of the agreed sum.
The attorney threatened legal action, citing breach of contract and various torts, and demanded a settlement of $250,000 within nine days to keep the interactions confidential. The woman, although reluctant due to the nature of the events, was prepared to pursue her claims publicly if necessary.
While the outcome of the claim remains undisclosed, Prince Andrew has consistently denied any involvement in unlawful activities associated with Epstein. The Daily Mirror reached out to Andrew’s representatives for their response.
Following the release of recent Epstein files, the former Prince’s reputation has faced renewed scrutiny, with allegations from a lawyer representing an Epstein victim suggesting trafficking to the UK for sexual encounters with the royal. Thames Valley Police confirmed they are assessing the information regarding a reported incident in Windsor in 2010 in line with standard procedures.
