A hiker was discovered deceased in the Berwyn Mountains in north east Wales after a search operation by North Wales Police and North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR) team. The authorities were contacted on Sunday evening regarding a missing walker in the area, prompting a thorough search effort in challenging terrain. The hiker’s body was eventually located and retrieved by the rescue team.
NEWSAR spokesperson expressed gratitude to the team members and partner agencies for their dedicated efforts during the operation, highlighting the professionalism and compassion displayed throughout the search.
