Katie Price has recently criticized a former partner, labeling him as “despicable” over a decade after their separation. The 47-year-old former glamour model targeted her ex-fiancé Leandro Penna while reminiscing about past relationships on the most recent episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show.
Katie and the Argentinian model began dating after meeting at Elton John’s Oscar party in 2011. Their high-profile relationship led to an engagement when Leandro proposed during a romantic skiing getaway. However, the couple’s romance came to an end in October 2012, reportedly due to challenges with long-distance and communication issues.
During a conversation with her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show, Katie revisited the past, revealing details about her romantic history. She disclosed that although she had never engaged in a one-night stand, she swiftly became involved with one ex-partner, an experience she preferred not to elaborate on.
When her sister inquired about the identity of this ex, Katie did not mince words, referring to him as a “despicable person.” Despite her harsh assessment, Katie acknowledged that the relationship with Leandro lasted longer than anticipated, spanning two years.
Reflecting on their time together, Katie noted Leandro’s striking appearance, recalling their language barrier as they communicated in different languages. She mentioned his adeptness at household repairs but alluded to a tumultuous end to their relationship, citing that “he destroyed everything.”
In a previous statement addressing their split, Katie described her relationship with Leandro as enjoyable but acknowledged that sometimes relationships naturally reach their conclusion. Following the discussion, Katie swiftly redirected the conversation, indicating a desire to move on.
In contrast, Leandro has since transitioned away from the entertainment industry and now reportedly operates a thriving avocado business named Paltas Royale, involved in importing and exporting produce globally. Meanwhile, Katie remains a prominent figure in the public eye and is set to unveil more about her eventful life in an upcoming documentary series.
The forthcoming four-part show, titled Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, is in production for Sky by Louis Theroux’s Mindhouse production company and promises an unfiltered exploration of Katie’s three-decade-long media career, delving into her relationships and public controversies.
Mindhouse co-founder Arron Fellows indicated that the documentary will delve into the highs and lows of Katie’s life, offering a fresh perspective on a public figure often thought to be well-understood. The series is scheduled to premiere later this summer.
