Love Island celebrity Curtis Pritchard did not finish the London Marathon. The 30-year-old reality TV star, known for his appearances on various ITV2 dating shows, started the race alongside co-stars Lauren Wood and Dejon Noel-Williams at Blackheath.
While Lauren and Dejon completed the marathon successfully, Curtis did not cross the finish line, leaving a mystery surrounding his absence. According to a source, there was significant anticipation around the Love Island stars participating in the marathon, especially Curtis, who extensively documented his training on social media.
Despite other runners claiming to have seen Curtis during the race, the official results show no recorded finish time for him. The Mirror has reached out to Curtis’s representative for clarification on the matter.
In contrast, Lauren Wood completed the marathon in an impressive time of 04:33:32, becoming the fastest known Love Island contestant to finish the race. Dejon Noel-Williams followed closely behind with a time of 4:56:11, while Curtis’ brother, AJ Pritchard, completed the course in 5:15:27.
Leading up to the event, both Curtis and AJ shared their training routines online, encouraging fans to donate to charity. However, Curtis has not spoken about his race experience since the marathon. On the day of the event, he only posted a comedic video seeking financial advice.
Meanwhile, Lauren and Dejon celebrated their achievements with friends and family at the finish line. A friend of Lauren’s praised her preparation for the race, emphasizing her determination to complete it and raise funds for charity.
