Katie Price’s father-in-law has reportedly been incarcerated in the same prison as his son. The former glamour model, aged 48, married Dubai entrepreneur Lee Andrews in January shortly after meeting him, garnering significant attention ever since.

The situation escalated in May when Lee was expected to join Katie on a UK television show but did not board the flight, triggering weeks of speculation about his whereabouts until it was revealed that he had been imprisoned.

Initially released earlier this year under the claim of espionage-related charges, it later emerged that his arrest was linked to outstanding debts. Recent reports indicated his return to prison, with Katie allegedly distressed as Lee’s father, Peter, was reported to have joined him in Al Awir prison, facing accusations of fraud alongside Lee.

A close acquaintance stated, “The unfolding events are truly unbelievable. Both Lee and his father are now incarcerated in the same facility. Despite maintaining his innocence, Lee aims to settle his debts swiftly and depart the distressing situation.” The source added that Katie is currently dismayed by the ongoing turmoil and contemplating her future with Lee.

Meanwhile, Katie, presently in the UK, recently debuted her Sky documentary “Nothing To Hide”. Lee purportedly mentioned to a friend his arrest and the potential need for Katie to assist in his release, suggesting a crowdfunding effort.

Representatives of Mr. Andrews sought his release from custody to access his funds for debt settlement. They disclosed that during court proceedings, Lee mentioned his inability to pay due to his wife’s absence and requested a brief extension to settle the debt. Despite Lee’s claims that Katie would provide the necessary funds, there is no evidence of her financial involvement.
