Ruth Langsford is preparing to write more about her life once her divorce is finalized. The TV personality’s book, “Feeling Fabulous,” released in hardback format in February, quickly became a bestseller. Publishers are eager for a sequel and are open to adding an extra chapter to the paperback version in the future.
During an interview with OK! Magazine, Ruth hinted at a possible follow-up project, stating, “Watch this space.” She expressed her newfound passion for writing, reflecting on the process of discussing various topics, revisiting chapters, and making adjustments. Despite finding it emotional to record the audio book, Ruth found the experience fulfilling and hinted at exploring more writing opportunities in the future.
“Feeling Fabulous” achieved the second spot on the Sunday Times Bestseller list, maintaining a top 10 position for four weeks. Ruth, aged 66, continues to navigate the complexities of her ongoing divorce with Eamonn Holmes, which is expected to be resolved in court by year-end for financial settlement.
In her book, Ruth candidly shared the challenges she faced following her separation from Eamonn Holmes. She acknowledged the support of close friends, the guidance of a therapist, and how these factors aided her healing process over the past two years.
A court hearing is scheduled for November to potentially bring closure to their separation, which occurred more than two years ago. Prior to this, Ruth plans to enjoy a vacation with her friends, anticipating a relaxing getaway filled with sunshine, good reads, delicious food, and a few glasses of wine.
Aside from her personal life, Ruth’s book delves into her experiences on shows like “Strictly Come Dancing,” relationships forged on “Loose Women,” and the emotional challenges of dealing with her parents’ dementia and her sister Julia’s tragic suicide.
Ruth remains busy with television commitments on “Loose Women” and the QVC channel, where she promotes her clothing line. Meanwhile, her ex-husband, Eamonn, has been on leave from GB News for over two months following a health setback.
