Former contestant on The Apprentice, Rochelle Anthony, recently shared that she was taken to the hospital due to a suspected stroke. The BBC star, known for her appearance on the business competition in 2023, disclosed the news from her hospital bed.
Anthony posted a picture of herself connected to medical devices and explained that she had to seek medical attention after experiencing a sudden loss of function in one side of her body, affecting her arm and leg. She mentioned, “Dolls, I am in A&E with a suspected stroke.
“I am so sorry for any clients I need to reschedule! Please bear with me. Stress and trauma really are crazy triggers for serious conditions. I have no use of my left leg and left arm.”
She informed that she would be unreachable on her phone while recuperating and advised those needing to reach her to contact her business account for assistance.
This is not the first time Anthony has shared health issues with her followers. In 2024, she disclosed a health emergency where she suffered from excruciating pain for weeks and was diagnosed with gallstones trapped in her bile duct.
Despite a previous surgery to remove her gallbladder and 19 gallstones the year before, she needed specialized help to address the issue.
Anthony gained fame during her time on The Apprentice in 2023. The owner of a beauty salon, she made it to the final of that season, narrowly missing out on the win to Marnie Swindells and her boxing gym.
Unfortunately, 2026 saw a significant change in Anthony’s life as she separated from her husband of a decade. “I’m going through a divorce currently so I’m just finding me again,” she revealed. “I think that’s really important when you end a relationship.
“I was with him for a really long time, obviously married and had kids together, so I’m navigating being a single mum now and a business owner. It’s a lot. It’s huge but it’s a nice new chapter in my journey. It’s all about independence and self-care.”
Rochelle shares two children, an eight-year-old son named Bentley and a six-year-old daughter named Hallie, with her ex-husband, who prefers to stay out of the public eye. She acknowledged the challenges of balancing business, childcare, and divorce as a “constant juggling act.” The Apprentice star manages The Dolls House salon in Milton Keynes.
“I base my work around the children’s pick-ups and collections,” she said. “The glass does get a little empty some days but I’ve got such a supportive and amazing family who live round the corner from me. It’s now about changing things and lowering my expectations a bit more because my kids will always come first.”
