The boy experienced a seizure while inside the car, and despite immediate medical attention, he could not be saved. The heartbreaking event took place in the rural Ekinciler neighborhood of Mazıdağı district, Mardin, in southern Turkey.

Muhammed reportedly entered the car and fell asleep, leading to an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. His family realized he had been in the car for an extended period and found him unwell. They rushed Muhammed to Mazıdağı State Hospital, where it was determined that he had suffered a seizure. Subsequently, he was transferred to Mardin Training and Research Hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his condition. This unfortunate incident coincides with Turkey experiencing extreme heatwaves this summer, with temperatures soaring to 40C in Mardin.
