A passenger traveling on a Ryanair flight experienced a terrifying incident when he was almost sucked out of a broken plane window but was saved by his quick-thinking wife.

The flight, which was en route from Thessaloniki to Memmingen in Germany, had to make an emergency return to Greece due to an engine malfunction, causing debris to strike the window.

The pilot identified the engine issue shortly after departure from Greece and made the decision to head back to Thessaloniki while flying over North Macedonia.

During the descent, a section of the damaged engine broke off and hit a cabin window, leading to a dramatic moment as Ljubiša Karović, a 61-year-old passenger from Serbia, was partially pulled towards the opening due to the sudden change in pressure.

Thankfully, Karović’s wife, Svetlana Grković, reacted swiftly by holding onto his legs, and with the help of other passengers, they managed to pull him back inside the aircraft, ensuring his safety.
