Princess Eugenie has quietly withdrawn from her position at The King’s Foundation after just one year. The daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson was designated as a mentor for the ‘35 under 35’ program in May 2025, which aimed to assist young leaders in the fashion, architecture, and environmental activism sectors.
King Charles’ niece, currently pregnant with her third child, had previously commended the Foundation’s work aligned with the King’s interests. However, after a year, Eugenie has decided to step back from her influential role. It’s reported that she only participated in one formal engagement during her time with the foundation.
Reports suggest that Eugenie’s involvement with the organization was intended for the Foundation’s 35th anniversary year and naturally concluded after that. She is believed to have engaged with participants on multiple occasions, providing ongoing support and guidance. The King’s Foundation has been contacted for comment.
Eugenie’s sole public appearance for the foundation occurred last November when she delivered a speech at a mentors brunch in Soho, emphasizing the importance of mentorship and how her love for art has influenced her career as a gallery director at Hauser and Wirth.
Despite resigning from Anti-Slavery International after her father’s arrest the previous month, Eugenie is said to maintain a positive relationship with her uncle, King Charles, who expressed joy over her recent pregnancy announcement from Buckingham Palace. Eugenie and her spouse, Jack Brooksbank, revealed they are expecting their third child this summer, adding to their two sons, August and Ernest.
