Janette Manrara recently opened up about her personal life, revealing that she is embracing change and moving forward after facing challenges with her husband, Aljaz Skorjanec. The former Strictly Come Dancing professional, who transitioned into a presenter on It Takes Two, shared insights into her family’s relocation to London and the transition to a new chapter in their lives.
During a podcast episode on April 7, Janette discussed their move and the process of decluttering and organizing their belongings. She mentioned that while she prefers a fresh and organized environment, it can be challenging with her husband and their rapidly growing daughter, Lyra Rose.
When asked if she keeps items for sentimental reasons, Janette revealed that she is letting go of unnecessary possessions and only holding onto meaningful mementos like her daughter’s first dress.
Janette and Aljaz first met in 2010 at a London dance studio and later joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. They tied the knot in London, and their daughter Lyra Rose was born in 2023. The couple is currently touring with their show, A Night To Remember.
In the midst of changes at Strictly Come Dancing, Janette addressed speculation about her future on the show, expressing uncertainty but confirming that the show will return with new professionals and presenters. She emphasized the opportunities the show has provided them and their gratitude for the platform it has given them.
Janette and Aljaz are set to appear on Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh today at 9.30am.
