An individual who was a participant in the X Factor competition and is implicated in the death of an influencer outside a popular nightclub in London is currently detained in the same comfortable prison alongside Lucy Letby and Constance Marten.
Gabrielle Carrington, aged 29, is accused of hitting Klaudia Zakrzewska, aged 32, with a vehicle outside a Soho nightclub. Carrington is closely monitored by guards at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey for her safety and that of other inmates. She is located in the induction wing where inmates can participate in beauty courses and opera workshops.
The former X Factor finalist has been in custody and is awaiting her next court appearance. Considered a standard prisoner at the 530-inmate facility, Carrington has privileges such as gym access, phone calls, and entertainment options like a TV and DVD player.
A source mentioned to The Sun that Carrington is fortunate to be at Bronzefield due to its relatively comfortable conditions compared to other prisons, providing better protection for inmates. Activities are organized for the inmates, and women’s prisons generally have more resources than male facilities.
Carrington is currently in the induction phase but is expected to move to Unit 4, where Letby, Constance, and other inmates are housed, for her safety. This unit typically accommodates more vulnerable individuals and serves as a secure space for high-profile prisoners.
Due to her fame, wealth, appearance, and social media following, Carrington could be a target in other prison units, but being with less likely-to-be-aggressive women reduces that risk. She has been well-behaved since arriving, cooperating with staff and avoiding any diva behavior.
Initially charged with attempted murder, GBH with intent, ABH, and drink-driving, Carrington faced upgraded charges to murder after Klaudia, known as Klaudia Glam, passed away six days following the incident outside the Inca nightclub.
An additional victim, a 58-year-old man, sustained severe injuries in the same event. Sodexo, the private company managing Bronzefield, declined to comment on individual cases when approached by The Sun.
Among the other inmates at the facility is Constance Marten, who disappeared with her partner Mark Gordon in January, 2023. Their daughter’s body was found in an allotment shed following a police search, and the couple was eventually convicted of causing her death due to gross negligence after two trials.
